Project Managment
As a Product Specialist at Claypaky, you will be an integral part of the Product Managers Team, executing a range of technical-commercial tasks throughout the sales cycle, from pre-sales to after-sales.
You will be instrumental in promoting the features and performance of our lighting products through technical visits, demonstrations at fairs and events, and customer interactions. Your role involves providing technical feedback, monitoring market trends, benchmarking against competitors, and contributing innovative ideas.
Additionally, you may be involved for creating and maintaining product libraries and may participate in the development of new products in collaboration with the R&D and Product Portfolio Managers. This role requires worldwide travel to support our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities
    • Technical Demonstrations
      • Conduct direct product demos and technical-functional comparisons.
      • Perform product demonstrations at Claypaky, meeting all technical expectations of customers.
      • Organize and lead product demo seminars, including basic operational knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Training and Relationship Building:
      • Train distributors on technical presentations of products.
      • Build and nurture relationships with lighting designers and end-users.
      • Serve as a 360° technical consultant, offering tailored product solutions and building trusted relationships with customers.
    • Feedback and Innovation:
      • Collect and transfer customer feedback and suggestions.
      • Report on product performance, market trends, and competitor benchmarking.
      • Provide innovative input for product development and improvement.
    • Event Support:
      • Ensure product visibility by supporting the organization of fairs, attending events, and handling necessary demonstrations.
      • Address and resolve technical issues for customers, coordinating with various Claypaky functions.

Key Competencies and Skills
    • Basic knowledge of console lighting programming: 
      • At least one of the main Controllers like MA2, MA3AvolitesHogEOS
    • Proficiency with ICT tools
      • Microsoft Office Suite
      • ERP systems
      • Vectorworks or similar
      • Wysiwyg or similar
      • Autocad or similar
    • Basic knowledge of Claypaky's products and those of competitors.
    • Strong technical-sales communication skills.
    • Flexibility to adapt to varying contexts and openness to new ideas.
    • Excellent negotiation and teamwork skills.
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills in English (C1 or higher).
    • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical diploma or degree.
  • Experience in the lighting industry or similar field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience working in an international environment and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel worldwide.
