Lighting Designers & Specification Business Development Manager

Clay Paky s.r.l., part of ARRI GROUP, for its site in Seriate (BG), is looking for a:

Key mission of this position is to be the interface for both Lighting Designers Relationships Managers and Regional Manager for the international Project & Installation specifications, and conducting business development with main specifiers and forging strong relationships with Lighting Designers as well as being their voice at Corporate Office. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a central point of contact across assigned portfolio of network projects
  • Conduct research to identify new market segments alongside with customer needs
  • Gather and analyze market data, translating it into an easy format for Lighting Designers and Project & Installation market  segments
  • Under the coordination of Head of Specification, provide supervision to ensure Lighting Designers and Project & Installation market strategies are executed by Regional Area Managers and LDs specialists 
  • Foster long term relationships with LDs and Specifiers 
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow and market dynamics
  • Work cooperatively with the rest of the team
  • CRM activities: constant updated information with sales opportunities, leads and new contacts, competition information, product comparison, market intelligence
  • Managing, maintaining, and building business relationships with all specifiers and interested parties of both direct and indirect customers and throughout the company organization
  • Generate meeting occasions with specifiers either at their premises or at our Head Quarter
  • Gather and manage info from specifiers on where company products are being used, tranferring info to the marketing colleagues for proper corporate communications and newsletters
  • Periodical reporting activities with full details of sales opportunities and market trends
Knowledge and experiences:
  • Professional fluency in English it's mandatory; preferred fluency in a second language amongst French and German
  • Technical or business Degree 
  • Preferred international background with expertise of at least 5 years in multinational companies
  • Attitude and availability to frequently travel globally (up to 50% of working time, commensurate to working days)
